Women, Empowerment And Gender Justice
Women empowerment and gender justice are critical issues in the contemporary society, aiming to create a more equitable and inclusive world.
JVT works for the capacity building of women to make choices and transform the desired actions and outcomes. It encompasses various dimensions
• Economic empowerment by promoting by insuring that women have access to and control over economic resources such as income property and employment opportunities.
• Educational empowerment by ensuring girls get quality education both in villages and urban areas.
• Political empowerment by ensuring equal representation of women in leadership roles and decision-making processes, in precise “representation and participation”.
• Social empowerment by enhancing women status in the society by challenging and changing societal norms, attitude and behaviors that perpetuate gender inequality.
• Health empowerment by ensuring women have access to health care services, reproductive rights, and information about their health.
• Depth is working closely with community women for elimination of gender based violence by addressing and preventing balance against women and girls in all its forms, including domestic violence sexual harassment and human trafficking.
