Neepa is a dedicated professional social worker with 24 years of experience in the development sector, demonstrating exceptional skills in project implementation and monitoring. She has extensive expertise in addressing issues related to children and women. Neepa has had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Padmasree Ashok Bhagat ji and Nobel Peace Laureate Sri Kailash Satyarthi ji. Her career highlights include implementing the Juvenile Justice Act, particularly POCSO cases, promoting alternative care and deinstitutionalization, providing aftercare for trafficking survivors, and supporting malnourished children in tribal villages of Jharkhand. She holds Law Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from Ranchi University. During her journey, she has also received many awards and fellowships naming the prestigious Jamshedji Tata National Virtual Academy for Rural Prosperity in 2008, for her contributions to spreading knowledge on women's issues in rural India. She has been honored as the Best Social Entrepreneur by Oxfam India, Delhi, for her work on women's rights in Jharkhand on behalf of Jharkhand Mahila Vikas Manch, focusing on raising awareness and preventing domestic violence.
